Bolzano
Bolzano is the capital
of the southern Tyrol, and is a city populated by Austrians. German
is still the primary language, but most people are bilingual.
In Bolzano, we visited the South Tyrol Museum of archaeology that
houses the Ice Man, a 5300 year old frozen recently found in the
Alps. We also rode a large cable car high to the top of the, then
rode a century old "Tramvai", small train to the village
shown in these pictures.
